COMMUNITY & CONNECTION

Good work grows through people.

Hendricks Family Farm's story reaches beyond its property lines. From the farmers who work the land to the neighbors who generously share their knowledge, these relationships help shape how we care for the farm and consider what comes next.

A LOCAL FARMING RELATIONSHIP

Keeping the land working.

Part of caring for a family farm is working with people who know how to keep agricultural land in productive use. Kathy has spoken about Colin, a local farmer leasing part of the property, as one of the people whose work helps keep Hendricks Family Farm connected to its agricultural roots.

This agricultural leasing is distinct from Hendricks Family Farm's own plans for micro-farming and orchard development, which remain in development.

WITH GRATITUDE

Learning from our neighbors.

During a visit to Rocklands Farm Winery, members of the Hendricks Family Farm team had the opportunity to walk the grounds, meet people involved in the operation, and learn from their experience.

Kathy wanted to recognize the generosity of the people who took time to speak with the team. Visiting another working farm offered an opportunity to exchange ideas, ask questions, and see different approaches to agricultural stewardship firsthand.

CONTINUING THE WORK

Connected by the land.

As Hendricks Family Farm grows, we hope to continue learning from the people, farms, and communities around us. These exchanges are part of how we honor the land's history while making thoughtful plans for its future.
